Last summer I pulled out a perfectly intact grilled cheese sandwich. I have no idea how it got in there. My kids swear they didn’t do it. What’s the most random thing you’ve fished out of yours?

Okay that wins, but I once found a Barbie doll duct-taped to a pool noodle like a raft. Looked like a weird rescue mission gone wrong. No one in my family has admitted to it, but I’ve kept her as a pool mascot ever since.

That’s hilarious! One time I fished out a whole rubber chicken toy from the bottom of the pool. No idea how it ended up there, but the kids swore they didn’t throw it in. I guess it was just having a pool day of its own! It’s always the mystery items that make you wonder what goes on when you’re not looking.

Oh, that’s great! I once pulled out a small inflatable donut, but it wasn’t in the pool just sitting next to the filter. I have no clue how it ended up there either. I can’t even imagine the look on my face when I saw it. Kids have a way of making sure things disappear and then show up in the oddest places.

Haha, a grilled cheese in the pool? That’s impressive! I once fished out a completely soggy and half-eaten sandwich, but the weird part was, it wasn’t even mine! My neighbor’s kid must’ve tossed it in while playing around the pool. I think I need to start keeping a “lost and found” basket for random food that ends up in there!
