What’s the funniest thing that’s happened in your pool or spa?

I’ve had some hilarious moments in my pool, from pool floats getting stuck to unexpected cannonballs. What’s the funniest pool or spa story you’ve got?
 
A couple summers ago, we had a backyard BBQ and invited a bunch of friends over music going, food on the grill, kids splashing around in the pool. At one point, our dog (a golden retriever named Max) got a little too excited and ran straight across the yard, launched himself into the pool, and belly-flopped right into the deep end… holding a pool noodle in his mouth like he was ready to chill 😆.

Everyone just stopped and burst out laughing. He swam around like he owned the place, noodle and all, and refused to get out. A few of the kids actually started racing him back and forth he held his own too! Now anytime we blow up floaties or bring out the pool toys, Max gets this look like, “Alright, when’s the party starting?”

We still joke that he’s the most dedicated swimmer in the family. Definitely one of those moments we’ll never forget.

I’m crossing all my fingers, hoping he snags us a shiny Olympic medal! 😆.
 
One time, we had a pool party, and someone tried to do a dramatic cannonball, only to slip and belly flop instead! The splash was huge, and everyone burst out laughing. It turned into the highlight of the day, with everyone trying (and failing) to top that epic belly flop! 😂
 
One time I was relaxing on this giant pizza slice float, just soaking up the sun. Out of nowhere, a gust of wind pushes me straight into the deep end. I tried to stay cool but I flipped right off, made the most awkward splash, and lost my sunglasses in the process. My friends still call it “The Pizza Dunk.” 🍕💦

Oh, I've got a good one! I was lounging in the pool with a giant flamingo float when my friend jumped in to show off a cannonball. She missed the float entirely and ended up flipping me off of it into the water. We both ended up in a fit of laughter, and let’s just say the flamingo didn’t make it through the rest of the day!
 
This one’s a classic! My buddy thought it’d be hilarious to jump from the diving board in a full running start. He slipped just as he hit the board and ended up sliding across the water like he was on ice. He basically skidded straight into the pool like a belly flop gone wrong. It was one of those “did that really just happen?” moments!

Oh, I’ve definitely had my share of funny moments! One time, I was on a giant inflatable pizza slice, trying to chill and enjoy the sun, when my dog decided it was his new favorite toy. He jumped on it, and the whole thing started tipping over! We both ended up in the water, the pizza slice floating away, and the dog just paddling around like he was the king of the pool. It was a complete mess but totally hilarious!
