Got any funny pool mishaps?

Oh, I’ve got one! I once tried to dive in the pool, but I misjudged the distance and belly-flopped right on the edge. The splash was so big, it made everyone think I had done it on purpose for a dramatic effect. Worst part? My glasses flew off and landed in the deep end!

Oh man, I’ve got one for you. A few summers ago, I was trying to impress some friends with a "graceful" dive into the deep end. I slipped right on the edge and ended up doing a full-on belly flop. The sound was so loud it echoed across the yard, and I came up red as a tomato. Some from the flop, mostly from embarrassment.
To make it worse, my sunglasses flew off and landed in the shallow end like they were trying to abandon ship. Everyone was laughing so hard I had to laugh too, even though I was dying inside a little.

A few years back, I was at a friend’s pool party and decided to go down the slide with a bit too much enthusiasm. I forgot I had my phone in my pocket until I hit the water… and it was very much not waterproof. The worst part? I tried to play it cool and act like nothing happened, but it immediately started buzzing and died in my hand mid-sentence.
People were like, “Did you just take a phone call in the deep end?” I had to own up to it and became the “slide guy” for the rest of the summer.
Still hurts a little when I look at that replacement phone.

Oh, I’ve definitely got a good one! I tried to show off a cool dive off the diving board once, but ended up slipping mid-jump and belly-flopping into the water instead. The splash was so big, I thought I might’ve flooded the whole yard! Everyone was silent for a second, then they just burst out laughing. I couldn’t even be mad; it was too ridiculous!
