Anyone actually get a full 5+ years out of their salt cell? I’m at year 4 on a Hayward T-Cell-15 and wondering if I should expect it to start dropping off soon.
I’ve had a Hayward T-Cell-15 as well, and I’ve heard from a lot of people that around the 4 to 5-year mark is when you might start noticing a drop in performance. It really depends on how well the system has been maintained, but in general, if it’s been running well for four years, it’s probably time to start keeping an eye on it. Some people get a full 5 years out of theirs, but it's not uncommon for the cell to start losing efficiency after that point. Regular cleaning and checking the salt levels can help extend its life a bit longer, but just be prepared for a possible replacement soon.Anyone actually get a full 5+ years out of their salt cell? Many people get 5+ years out of their Hayward T-Cell-15 with proper maintenance, but the lifespan can vary depending on water chemistry and usage. Regular cleaning and balancing your pool’s chemistry can help extend its life. If you notice reduced chlorine production, it might be time to start thinking about a replacement.Anyone actually get a full 5+ years out of their salt cell?
